American master weaver Roy Kady will begin a tour of Ecuador during which he will share the traditional form of his art from the Navajo-Churro culture with local indigenous communities. Roy Kady will travel to Peguche, Otavalo, Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, Riobamba, Canar, Azoques, Cuenca, Saraguro, and Loja. His program of intercultural exchange, sponsored by the Cultural Section, starts on April 25 with two practical workshops for students and weavers at Centro Cultural Metropolitano in downtown Quito.
